Immaculate barn annexe close to Stansted Airport

As lovely as before

Pros: Our 3rd visit and as lovely as ever. Lovely warm welcome from Cathanne, spotlessly clean, cosy and relaxing on a gloomy afternoon. Very comfortable bed, luxury towels. Appreciate the extras such as milk, coffee, tea, etc.

Cons: Nothing to dislike.

We had a lovely, peaceful stay in a beautiful location with a very friendly and helpful host

Pros: It was as lovely as it looked on the website. Beautiful location and lovely, well equipped venue.

Cons: There was nothing we didn’t like.

A comfortable property everything we needed for our short stay.

Pros: The property was open but as we drove up the ownwer was on the drive waiting to leave but stopped and showed us the property.

Thoroughly enjoyable stay.

Pros: Very comfortable and well appointed annexe. Our host was very friendly and helpful and we really enjoyed our two nights stay. Just like being at home! We would be happy to stay again should we visit that area in the future.

I will book this place if I need to return.

Pros: I have stayed in many, many places during my years of travelling around the UK, and I have to say, that this was exceptionally outstanding in every possible way! I would recommend this stay, and host 100%!

Fantastic property

Pros: Lovely homely feel in a beautiful and quiet location. Has everything you need for meals etc. Being able to do washing was a bonus. Cathanne is a great host and offered lots of suggestions and nothing was a bother. I would highly recommend this property & would stay again in a heartbeat.

Cons: This is by no means a negative but more of a suggestion. Towel rack in the bathroom would be useful and a full length mirror would be good.

Luxury, rural, comfortable accommodation

Pros: This was a return visit as I loved it so much last time and was not disappointed this time. Excellent communication from booking to arrival, including accurate information on how to find the property. Lovely, friendly and helpful hostess. Safe, free, private parking. Quiet, rural location. Accommodation furnished to a high standard; very attractive, luxury, yet cosy, feel. Well equipped kitchen with extras provided eg milk, coffee (there is a cafetiere if you want to bring ground coffee), tea, salt, pepper, washing up liquid, hand soap etc. Separate bedroom and bathroom upstairs, comfortable bed. Spotlessly clean. No problem with aircraft noise, despite being close to Stansted airport, so you get a good night's sleep.

Cons: Giving a good review might mean it is booked up next time I would like to stay!
