Canalside 1 bed flat

Very comfortable.

Pros: Beautifully presented interior. Lovely kitchen with lots of considerate touches. Huge, comfy bed.

Cons: Exterior and surroundings were not particularly attractive.

cosy snug in Hertford

Pros: cosy snug which is well equipped next to the canal. the bed was very comfortable it is within walking distance of the town where there is a theatre and lots of bars etc. it is also near the station. good communication with the owner.

Pros: Peaceful location, had everything I needed. Flat was warm and cosy.

Cons: The bedside lamps were a bit dim, so I had to use the main light to read by. An extra lamp would be good.

Location is right in town centre but no passing traffic apart from a couple of swans gliding past on the canal.

Pros: Beautifully clean and cosy All the creature comforts Brilliant town centre location without the hustle and bustle. Fab views over the canal. Really cosy and well appointed

Enjoyable 2 night Hertford stay

Pros: Well furnished & in close proximity to the River Lea, Hertford & Hertford East Railway Station.

Really great place and value for money!

Pros: Great communication with the host - great value for money - very easy walk into town - free parking - couldnt be better!

Very lovely, neat, and comfortable.

Pros: It really meet my expectations infact it was so lovely, very neat and well organised. A lovely place to be and would love to visit again. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants a calm, neat, and comfortable place to spend time.

With a few tweaks this would be a great little place to stay for the price.

Pros: Close to the canal and town centre. Clean, tidy and modern. Great little bolt hole. It felt strange going into an industrial estate but once inside it was as described.

Cons: Badly stained mugs beyond just a wash. There were no oven gloves or chopping board and no kitchen/bread knives. We also had to throw away a lot of our food as the fridge was set to a high number and froze the contents! (Which affected the value for money!) There were also no hand towels. There was no headboard and the pillows kept falling down the back of the mattress. There was also no mirror to use when drying hair. There is no blind at the kitchen window so it was light from very early. (We used eye masks). We didn’t find it a problem but the loud music from the nearby gyms started early and ended late. The outside area was also neglected. We had to brush leaves and cobwebs off the chairs and table before we could use them. Some pruning is also required, especially of the brambles. A little TLC would go a long way.

Was ideally situated for the center of Hartford. just a short walk along the canal. We lived it and will be back

Pros: It was very clean with an exceptionally comfortable bed. it had everything we needed for a short stay. Loved the toiletries in the bathroom. that was a lovely touch
