Modern, bright, oasis close to the city
Pros: The area was still rural, right on the edge of the city but with quick and easy access to both. The apartment was to the side at the back of the house, private and overlooking the garden, with large windows to give light, a lovely view and the breeze. It was compact so we were surprised how large and comfortable it was, really well laid out, everything you'd need for a long stay, super clean and modern, with a fabulous bathroom (no bath). The bed was large and comfortable and it was so quiet that we slept with windows open. Really nice to have a good settee as well, rather than having to sit on the bed to watch the tv.
Cons: The parking is a public area slightly further along a very busy road. The kitchen had a toaster and basic (700w) microwave but not a hob or grill, which really limited what we could cook. We assumed it wasn't because of cooking smells as the family BBQ was just outside our window. The allocated small outdoor seating area was in the side passage of the house, which had bikes parked along it and was access from the front to the back garden.

This apartment was lovely, having all the amenities one would expect.
Pros: The apartment was spacious, comfortable and had a large very modern bathroom. Our host Sarah was very helpful when we had a slight problem with the internet The location was a short walk to a bus stop and shops. It’s better to take public transport into the city centre because parking is scarce. We really enjoyed our stay.
Cons: The only thing we had difficulty with was the door locks which we eventually figured out.

Great find!
Pros: Very pleasant studio in residential area, the property is an annexe of the owners home with a separate entrance. Great location for Park and Ride (5 minute drive) and Cambridge United football ground (22 minute walk) The property itself was a comfortable cross between a hotel room and self catering accommodation. Small kitchen area (no sink but access to utility room in main house if needed) and a spotless bathroom. Comfortable bed. Coffee and various teas and dried milk provided. Local shop 5 minutes walk away. Free car park on opposite side of the road. We didn't have much luggage but I presume you could unload on tbe drive then park up. We didn't meet the owner but had pleasant messages.
Cons: Nothing.

Easier Location than Staying in Cambridge City
Pros: TARDIS like and very comfortable. Great if your visiting Cambridge Science park as only one junction up on the A14..
Cons: Could not find the kitchen to wash up dishes.

Fabulous stay!
Pros: The owners were very helpful and friendly. The location was convenient for work. The annexe was immaculate. The bed was very comfortable. There was everything you would need for an overnight stay, such as a fridge, kettle, and toaster. The bathroom was spacious and beautifully clean. There were added extras such as shampoo and shower gel. A fan was provided as the weather was very warm.
Cons: Everything was perfect!

Great location and sensibility priced.
Pros: Simple instructions and left to own devices to check in, all very straightforward. Didn't meet the hosts so was all easy. If you own a escooter it's only 15mins into the city centre.
Cons: Not too easy to find the right house as the main road is quite busy so had to drive past to be able to stop outside.
