Lovely apartment in Royston

Pros: The apartment was exceptionally clean and really nicely decorated with everything you needed for a short stay (we stayed 4 nights). The shower was nice and hot and the bed was comfortable. The host, Jess, was brilliant and got back to me immediately with answers to questions. Location was good for the train station and a short walk from Greggs, M&S food and Aldi for food supplies.

Cons: Whilst the apartment is small, with 5-6 radiators, the radiators are small so the open plan living room/kitchen area takes some time to warm up, even with the heating on high. We stayed in a very cold week though (snow outside one day!) so the heating would probably be sufficient any other time of the year. The smaller rooms (bedroom and bathroom) warmed up much quicker. The place had everything you needed but would have been nice to have a few extra loo rolls, towels and tea towels just in case extras were required.

Great location and very comfortable

Pros: Good location. Nice place to stay,easy to access, good parking space, felt like a safe area. Near enough to town to walk to restaurants and in a quiet location. The apartment was lovely with lots of extras in case of forgetfulness..e.g.toiletries, coffee,tea,milk.

Comfortable base for an overnight work trip.

Pros: Newly refurbished, clean and comfortable with plenty of space for a single or couple. Kitchen had everything I'd need (including salt, pepper and spices!) great price and close to where I was working. Piping hot water for a bath and nice wash / hair products. Thanks!

Pros: Very friendly house owner, great location, the apartment has everything you could possibly need, it's very peaceful at night

Cons: The bed was quite old and wobbly, and difficult for us to share as a couple as we disturbed each other when moving

Perfect for a short stay.

Pros: Very homely, ground floor in a quiet block of 6 apartments and even though close to the railway this wasn't a problem with noise.

Enjoyed our short stay. Would recommend.

Pros: Clean, warm, comfortable ground floor flat with parking space directly outside. Well located for local transport links and train station.

Cons: Perhaps a voile blind in the lounge and bedroom, as overlooked by neighbouring properties.
