The Chequers

Pros: Everything about the Chequers was exceptional. The location, the stay, the staff and the wholesomeness from the locals in the pub.

Cons: That I had to go back home to normality 🤣

Excellent; just couldn’t fault it

Pros: It suited us perfectly and after a late night was good to have 11am checkout. Kaz the barmaid was particularly helpful and friendly

Just an overnight stay whilst visiting family nearby and just what we needed, thank-you.

Pros: Good location, easy parking, friendly staff, good food and wine for dinner and an excellent breakfast.

Highly recommended.

Pros: It was very clean and comfortable, well equipped and all the furnishings were good. An added bonus was that you had a separate bedroom and lounge - and the small refrigerator was very useful. The rooms were situated behind the pub, so it was handy for evening meals, which were very reasonably priced. Would definitely stay again.

Cons: There was a nice big shower cubicle, but we weren't able to get much more than lukewarm water from the shower.

Great Accommodation, Good Location

Pros: We found the accommodation to be very comfortable ,Particularly liked the separate lounge area. Very good bed. Also liked the spacious shower and warm bathroom. Nice staff/Owner. We would definitely stay again.

Cons: We found the sink in the bathroom to be quite awkward to use as it was very low to the floor ,almost knee level, also the lack of control of the heating was a bit annoying. But overall everything was good.

Nice room in a quiet location with all the facilities we needed

Pros: Clean comfortable suite, with good facilities like a fridge and sofa. Plenty of tea coffee and milk. Nice quiet location at rear of the property. Good room heater too.

Cons: Pillows were hard (like everywhere seems to have these days). Not a great deal of clothes hanging space

Pros: Sparklingly clean. Quick responses from property and easy check in and out. The staff in the pub in the evening were very friendly and efficient. Good range of affordable simple food. Would use again.

Good value stay in lovely pub in quiet Norfolk village

Pros: Very quiet location. Loads of free parking. Right in the middle of the village, just a very short walk to the local shop as well. Everything on hand, pub food was very good quality and good value. Drinks were a good range for all tastes and good value. Kim and her staff couldn’t do enough for us, incredibly friendly, helpful always happy to go the extra mile. Full English breakfast very good, as was the bangers and mash I had on the first night. Local sourced sausages to die for! Our second visit this year. Already booked up our next trip in April. All in all a lovely traditional British pub!
