Pretty cottage near Aldburgh
Pros: This pretty cottage was in a peaceful location accessed by a long dirt road. It was within easy reach of Aldburgh, Saxmundham & Southwold. There is a car park close by that is on the Sailors Path, we had a lovely walk, about 4 miles into Snape Maltings, where there is a lovely pub and coffee shop. The cottage had all necessary amenities and was spotlessly clean. There is a Waitrose & Tesco in Saxmundum, but for essentials there is a Co-op 5 minutes away towards Aldburgh.
Cons: When the gate was closed, our dog could still get out of the garden, so couldn't be let out alone.

Remote hideaway with every comfort
Pros: Fabulous location in woods with easy access to the Sailors Path Loved heated bathroom floor. Plentiful hot water. Very comfortable living room with beautiful day bed. We loved the selection of books and could have stayed for weeks reading them all. We loved the simple furnishings and kitchen - no flashing digital displays - and we loved the consistency of simplicity throughout the cottage.
Cons: Dishwasher made things powdery or rough. Rather dim lighting in the kitchen. The creaking and other footstep noises of the residents above us (living room).

Pros: Pefect spot in the nice peaceful countryside. There was plenty of space for my partner and myself; lovely clean and tidy cottage, spacious gorgeous garden. I thoroughly enjoyed my mini stay here, and I would definitely recommend! 👌
Cons: None come to mind

Perfect location for those that want a holiday away from the madding crowd.d
Pros: Location and walks from the property. Comfy bed, excellent WiFi and large TV. Property had all that we needed. This is a spacious and comfy property and only let down by the creaking floorboards from above. See additional comments below.
Cons: Above the lounge there is a room of the attached property, The Dairy. Unfortunately it has very creaky floor boards and does become a wee bit wearing after several hours of the noise! Fortunately it doesn't affect the other rooms as they are part of the extension. However, I do feel that this issue should be addressed as you are able to hear conversations also, and, I assume they can hear the TV etc from the Dairy Cottage. Not ideal to have crockery/glasses etc stored on an open shelf as the cottage is prone from regular visits by creepy crawlies!!
