Really liked our stay in a lovely area, shame about the bed.
Pros: The location was lovely, very peaceful, great walks. Loved the log burner.
Cons: The bed was extremely uncomfortable, we would stay again if the mattress was changed or topper put on. The waste of electricity due to the full size cooker, an air fryer would be more than adequate, especially the oven type ones and would be far more economical.

Short stay in heart of quiet countryside in functional traditional accomodation
Pros: Cosy traditionally furnished accommodation in delightful countryside area, short walk to Chelmondiston pubs/shop etc, possibly bring torch to use on walk home from pub as no street lighting in isolated country lane but no problem. Did not speak to owner but everything worked re appliances, cooker, t.v. Wi-Fi etc. Ideal for pet owners, my Border Collie loved the freedom of just stepping outside the door to play in grassland surrounding instead of being on best behaviour in hotel or pub accommodation. Visiting family in the area and will certainly be using again if available.

Cosy and very peaceful cottage.
Pros: Lovely peaceful location with direct access to loads of footpaths for dog walking. I especially recommend a walk to the stunning village of Pin Mill which is about 30 minutes away on foot. Convenient location to visit attractions such as Jimmy's Farm, Flatford Mill and Alton Water. The cottage is warm and cosy and well equipped, I especially appreciated the WiFi.
Cons: The crockery was not clean on arrival. Not enough toilet roll provided. Mattress much too firm for my liking but others might like it. Dogs are allowed but the garden is not secure. Parking could be tight if someone is staying in the cottage next door.

Recommended - a lovely stay
Pros: The property was an ideal size and with expected facilities. The main bed was very comfortable. Communication with the owner was prompt and purposeful. The garden is lovely, as are the views and it's in walking distance of a lovely village. The property itself is in such a quiet, peaceful location, with a cornfield to one side. We were very happy with our choice, and the price represented very good value.
Cons: The sofa bed was not comfortable - it was commented that you could feel the springs. Given the excellent comms with the proprietor, I've no doubt this is something that would be looked at. Until the sofa bed is replaced, this property is more suitable for a couple. We also would have wished for there to be more supplies re. hot drinks - the filter coffee had as good as run out, and the granules were well out of date. These points aside, we recommend the property for many good reasons.
