A fabulous stay in a great location. Sunshine was an added bonus!

Pros: Quirky property, fun to explore with excellent facilities and a lovely charm of Old England. Great hot tub & cinema room. Excellent location, close to shops, cafes and restaurants in Saffron Walden. Each evening there was space to park our cars outside.

Comfortable and Perfect for a meal in and a catch up with friends. Good location to visit Audley End House

Pros: Decor and the Harry Porter references were great Very well equipped

Cons: No bedside lamps Some rooms without long mirrors Some rooms quite dark and there wasn’t a lot of good natural light. Attributed to the age of the building However the decor, although novel and fascinating didn’t help this. It may have been helpful to have the house instructions in a book in the property as well as on line
