Pros: the property is well presented, clean and with good fixtures and fittings. the property heated up well and stayed warm during our visit the accessibility of the bedroom/bathroom/lounge for wheelchair users

A relaxing and peaceful stay in a luxurious and spacious property.

Pros: Beautiful spacious and well-appointed property in lovely grounds, in a very peaceful and interesting area around the Stour Valley. Lovely historic small towns and villages to explore and many footpaths to walk.

Cons: Nothing to report.

There are few more luxurious, comfortable and tranquil settings than The Granary. Highly recommended

Pros: The cottage was off a minor road, but was easy to find. It was furnished to the highest standards. Every little detail was taken care of. There was a welcome tray of goodies for us on arrival with a bottle of Prosecco. There were books, CDs, DVDs and games for those who needed them with a large screen television. It would be difficult to find a better cottage than this. It really was five star luxury!

Cons: If we could have stayed longer!

Pros: The hosts were absolutely terrific and nothing was too much trouble. They were so friendly that we felt as though we had know them for years. Their gardens was to die for and they were so pleased to show it off which was a bonus for us. If you want to go to the Half Moon pub (just down the road) you must book as we got there 10minutes after opening and they had no table for 2 left for that evening.

Cons: Having paid Gbp 125 for cleaning for 2 nights I did not expect to have calc from the kettle in my drink - it had obviously not been cleaned for quite a while. Also the coffee machine is so complicated that I doubt whether anyone uses it unless they have the same machine at home.

Pros: A beautiful property in the heart of the Suffolk countryside. Excellent area for walking, very peaceful location. Close to many picturesque villages and towns. Accommodation was comfortable with all amenities, good sized bedrooms and large bathroom. Hosts were very welcoming and helpful, couldn't have wished for a better stay.

A Pefect Gem in the Suffolk Countryside

Pros: We had a perfect weekend here. Angela and Keith are a lovely couple and so welcoming. It was just like being at home. The Granary is absolutely beautiful and so tastefully presented The location is beautiful, far enough out to be away from it all but close enough to visit all the surrounding villages. We shall definately make this one of our go to places.

Pros: The accommodation was well presented, clean and fresh with good accessibility for my elderly parents. The hosts were welcoming and available but not intrusive. The location was great as we could walk the dog from the property using local footpaths. There are so many local villages in this area, castles, halls and other interesting places to visit, we loved the cafe's. It is a quiet and beautiful area with lots to explore. We visited in the winter and the accommodation was warm and comfortable, we liked the quietness of the surroundings and the beautiful gardens.

Fabulous cottage and very welcoming

Pros: Warm welcome. Beautiful cottage with great facilties and a fabulous collection of books, CD's and DVD'S. We particularly loved the chess set! Lovely location with dog walks just outside the door. We had a fabulous stay.

An amazing cottage for the perfect relaxing country getaway!

Pros: We stayed at The Granary for 3 nights and had an amazing time. We loved everything about the cottage and were so surprised how large the property was. We had a lovely gift basket awaiting us with some tasty treats and enjoyed these whilst playing many of the fun board games and listening to some of the vast music selection available. The cottage is perfect for a relaxing getaway . We took our small dog and went on many of the scenic walks recommended by the lovely hosts Angela and Keith. We also found some great dog friendly country pubs in Clare and Long Melford which are both a short drive away.
