Boutique Cottage by Bishop's Stortford train station

Pros: Very clean and comfortable, very well equipped. Parking was useful. Not too far to walk into town, which is what we were doing mostly. Station is very close if you needed that.

Cons: Bedside table were a bit small and wobbly for all our stuff. Could have been more hanging space.

Beautifully cosy and relaxed

Pros: Was modern, clean and cosy. Was always warm and comfortable. Perfect size for what was needed. Shower was amazing. Very well thought out.

Pros: Very convenient for the railway station, this made for a good place to stop for the night having flown into Stansted. The owner gave us plenty of helpful information although we still managed to miss the entrance, which is to a cleverly converted garage at the side of the family house. It was very clean and pleasant.

Gorgeously renovated and modern with everything you need

Pros: Exceptionally clean and a beautiful space. Location is brilliant and the attention to detail was amazing. Bed was super comfy and felt like I had everything I needed for my nights stay

Cons: My only very minor issue was that there was no full length mirror. When I was getting ready to go out I had to plug the hairdryer in by the tv and then there wasn’t a mirror to do my hair in. Very small thing and didn’t impact how incredible the cottage is

Pros: I appreciated being so close to the town, the ability to park my car in the drive and the accommodation being self-contained. The hosts were readily available if I had any questions. The cottage was spotless and comfortable, perfect for a short stay. If I need to visit the area in future, I would try and book this property again.
