The Essex Apartments - Ashby House

Pros: Apartment was really nice, very quiet given we were in the city. The apartment was very well equipped. Great location and walking distance to the centre. Lock box to collect keys and good instructions.

Good place to stay but lift seems temperamental so if you have mobility issues or a lot of bags could be inconvenient

Pros: Very clean , good amenities , comfy bed , good location

Cons: The lift didn’t work so was difficult carrying bags up and down the stairs as it was on the 4th floor

Pros: Very handy location for the event we were attending. Great facilities and host incredibly helpful. Lots of space made it feel like home from home and all we needed in the kitchen and bathroom for our stay. Very handy parking and the instrucitons for the permit were very clear. Very impressed with the level of attention to things that you might need and wouldn't think to bring in both the kitchen and bathroom. Would definitely recommend.

Cons: A small misunderstanding over the fact that we needed to use the sofa bed that was very quickly sorted. Shame for the host that the hallways were not kept as clean as the apartment but not anything that would spoil your stay.

Pros: Security system was lovely. It was quiet. Easy to get taxi services. Apartment was spacious and modern. Lots of toiletries and coffee ect.

Cons: Towels were a bit small. Not enough linen available

Pros: Large apartment in good condition. Washing machine. Close to restaurants, university and Chelmsford(10 minute walk)

Cons: Outside and carpark need to be cleaned of rubbish more often.

Excellent place, spotlessly clean, modern, close to everything, quite and fully equipped with everything you would ever

Pros: Spotless, modern, absolutely everything you need, very spacious apartment

Worth the money and a great location

Pros: I liked it’s location. It’s close to the town centre and right round the corner was where I needed to be so yeah this location is perfect.

Cons: The property was clean spacious, and everything was there that you need if you want to cook everything is there for that. It’s a nice secure property and it has a lift.

Lovely big apartment for a couple, safe & very quiet area.

Pros: Plenty of space, great amenities, clean & comfortable.

Cons: Towels weren’t in keeping with the rest of the amenities, furnishings etc. I think a couple of decent quality bath sheets would really enhance the bathroom area whilst providing a better experience for the guest.

Pros: Great location and very smooth experience with keys parking permits everything was very well explained

Thoroughly recommend, great place to stay.

Pros: Easy to find, very clean, clear communication and great location.

Cons: It was pretty hot!
