Lovely oak beamed cottage in the Old Town.

Pros: Delightful cottage with oak beams. Fully equipped kitchen, very comfy bed, large shower. A couple of minutes walk to pubs, restaurants, and the foreshore with it's interesting history. We really enjoyed our stay and would book again on our next visit to Harwich.

Quirky but delightful.

Pros: Being an old building it was very quirky which we liked. We thought the clock chimes every hour would keep us awake but in actuality we slept through them. The kitchen was very well equipped and we appreciated the milk left for us in the fridge.

Cons: We had difficulty entering the property and turning on the heating. In fairness, we did later find a message from the hosts explaining what to do. Maybe we could have received this information a bit earlier as we're not constantly connected to our phones.

Exceptional mini stay

Pros: Loved our mini stay so much the cottage was so cosy and literally had everything we could possibly need . Ed both slept very well very snuggly bed and thank you for the milk in the fridge .

A really lovely place to stay

Pros: Just like being in your Grandma's house, very cosy. Wonderful having the whole place to ourselves. Fantastic value for money

Cons: Steep stairs! I have vertigo, but I'm sure most people would have no problem!

Pros: Very cosy, warm and inviting place to stay. Well equipped with a fully equipped kitchen, washing machine, dryer and comfortable lounge and bedroom. Bathroom was clean and of a good size. Hosts kept open communication during my stay when required.

A not so little hidden gem

Pros: I absolutely loved it. After a long day it was just perfect. I sat in front of the fire with a glass of vino and chilled! Did my washing Had dinner. Facilities were great and the cottage was so very warm and homely It was so perfect I've now stayed twice

Cons: The chime of the clock but the hosts soon turned them off for me so a great night's sleep was had.
