The Lookout Penthouse

Great third stay; very comfortable and clean.

Pros: We’ve stayed here twice before and it’s ideal for our needs. We don’t use the kitchen except for coffee/tea and toast but it is well equipped and spacious. Having two bedrooms is great for us as well. The bathroom is clean and plenty of towels. We couldn’t find the information booklet anywhere (there always was one) and we had an issue with the TV. We sorted it out eventually. On previous stays the immersion for hot water was on for our arrival but this time it wasn’t so we had to wait a while to get hot water for a shower. Otherwise very good.

Cons: There’s a strange humming noise somewhere around the bathroom which can also be heard in the double bedroom. No idea what it was?

Pros: loved it host messaged to check all was ok location was so relaxing, sea views from every window watched the boats come in flat was lovely and warm had everything you needed and more plenty of towels, toiletries etc couldnt fault it would highly reccommend and deff would stay there again

Pros: Very clean and tidy. Fabulous views. Lift certainly helps.

Cons: Not unlike a hotel you do hear the odd door bang. Other than that very happy.

Excellent, spacious rooms with lovely views over the rooftops of the harbour mouth

Pros: Spacious, very well equipped with everything u need plus great kitchen supplies- coffee, tea, sugar, oil, spices, etc etc

Cons: Cutlery could’ve been cleaner & kitchen floor a bit sticky

Pros: Everything was good, nice and clean and plenty of space.

Cons: There was no washing machine.

Pros: The apartment was bigger than it looked in the photos. The views out to sea and of the ships were great. We slept well, as there was very little noise.

Pros: Bed was super comfortable and the facilities were functional and clean. We were really happy and would happily stay again.

Cons: Nothing really, was a pain hauling our stuff to the top floor (the elevator was good but it’s small and felt a little sketchy) but that is just a convenience thing 😂😂

Really enjoyable and relaxing in a unusual but lovely location.

Pros: The property was very well kept and the location on quay was great. We spent the day visiting the local sights, like the Redoubt and had a great time. Local restaurants are very good, particularly the Thai up at the quay, which was incredible.

Great two nights in well equipped apartment

Pros: Spacious, very clean, good facilities. Free parking.

Cons: Parking is a bit tight even with a mid sized car. But it’s free.
