Colchester Sunny Apartment with Pool and EV Car Point

Pros: Compact and just what we needed for a base to visit family. Parking available and a secure garden to let the dogs out for those nighttime toilet trips

Pros: Clean and tidy. Had everything we needed for our short stay, plus it was dog friendly.

Cons: Bed was a little soft for my taste, but that is just personal preference.

Pros: Stella’s place was perfect for a really chilled weekend with my 8 year old grandson, who thoroughly enjoyed using the pool. The chalet was brilliant with everything you needed with shops and Colchester a 10 min drive away. Stella even posted our pool shoes on to us that we left behind, which was really kind. We would definitely return.

Pros: Space on the drive. Has an EV charger and easy access to property via a keysafe. Inside has everything you need in a small space. The pool is a lovely touch, will have to stay linger to make use of it. Was perfect for my business trip as was round the corner from where I needed to be.

Cons: Te sat nav takes you to the other side of the property. Had to drive back around, but that is not too difficult.

It was a lovely place to stay whilst visiting family

Pros: Private entrance, EV charger, comfortable bed and lovely pool.

We needed a place for an overnight stay near a party we were attending and this fit the bill perfectly - with the bonus

Pros: The location worked perfectly for the party we were visiting for and the pool was a massive bonus. It was nice to have the freedom to just arrive when it worked for us and to have the space to ourselves.

Cons: Nothing.

This is a hidden gem, lovely place and very reasonably priced. We will definitely be coming back

Pros: The studio was very nicely decorated, well equipped and obviously the private pool was lovely.

Pros: Bed was very comfy, kitchen was well equipped, all was clean and the shower had nice hot water! The pool was clean and the hosts kept it clean throughout our stay and covered and uncovered it at night so we didn't have to do anything!

Last minute stay.

Pros: The apartment was perfectly located for our plans. The bed was super comfy with a lovely soft duvet. The kitchen was well equipped with all the usual appliances which met our needs entirely. The outside space and lovely pool was especially good to have, we particularly enjoyed breakfast listening to bird song.. As we booked last minute we appreciated the prompt communication regarding access to the property. Thankyou

Cons: Having read reviews we were surprised not to see the 'hosts' , but perhapes that's was because we booked last minute. Simulary whilst we appreciated the garden space and lovely clean pool the general area was desperate to be cared for, if we are honest this did affected our welcome and enjoyment. In addition having had hip surgery following a fall I was worried about the wobbly paving outside the door, this was compound by the higher than standard step. As I've already mentioned perhapes because it was a short notice booking but the apartment floors and skirting boards were rather dirty, shame as other reviews reported cleanliness as spotless. Tea, coffee sugar provided TQ, but no milk.

Relaxing

Pros: It was quite and had all the facilities you needed.

Cons: It was cold at night and the heater wasn’t throwing out much heat.
