Home from Home in our Self-Contained Annexe

Pros: It’s a lovely annex exactly as it says going from home to home.

Cons: It’s so convenient to my location for work and it contains everything I needed for a stay after working all day locally .

Pros: The annex was beautifully kept. Tidy, clean and had everything you could possibly need. Lovely touches such as some bread, milk, butter etc and a cake ready for a brews. Bed was super comfy. Also accommodated us arriving earlier. Thank you so much!

Truly a Home from Home

Pros: The annexe is exceptionally clean and tidy with lots of attention to detail. Hosts really friendly who provided excellent information regarding access, etc, prior to and during our visit. Ideally located just outside Saffron Walden. We attended a concert at Audely end and were at the accommodation within 20 minutes of the concert ending !! We would recommend this lovely little place to anyone wishing to visit this lovely part of England

Pleasant, peaceful accommodation from which to explore Saffron Walden

Pros: Overnight stay in the countryside fairly close to Saffron Walden. Had off-road parking and lockbox access. The decor was quirky and joyful and lovely to find welcome bits and bobs for a cuppa and breakfast. Nice to have an upstairs and downstairs toilet. It was very peaceful, pleasant birdsong and the owners next door were very helpful. Being a dry May night, nice to leave the car and walk 15 mins to the Plough bar & grill, an American style diner for our evening meal.

Lynne is a very pleasant host and we enjoyed our short stay at her comfortable ‘home from home’.

Pros: Our host had supplied a variety of cereals, bread, milk, spread, juice and jam. The location requires a car, but it was peaceful.

Cons: Very little! Perhaps info about recommended local places to go for a meal would be useful.

Pros: Lynn was very friendly when we arrived. There was lots of storage to unpack your suitcase and lots of space within the annexe. The kitchen had essentials, including a loaf of bread, beans and some yummy chocolate muffins.

Pros: Bigger than expected, welcoming and well equipped. Straight forward check in/out.

Great value, exceptionally obliging host as she allowed us to check in earlyin urder to preoare for wedding after our 4.

Pros: Perfect for an overnight stay with my friend when attending a wedding. The host was not there but left gorgeous muffins, and all essentials for breakfast. Lovely clean beds and towels etc.

Cons: Slight issue with parking on return from wedding late in evening as our apparent ‘designated’ space was occupied but we managed to park ok.
