Cosy weekend away

Pros: The cottage is very cosy and very clean . Me and my partner had a fantastic relaxed weekend. Mersea is 15 minutes away and so are some lovely country walks . The hosts were very polite and gave us lots of information before arrival.

Cons: nothing loved every minute of it

Pros: A good, comfortable little retreat, with a thoughtful welcome pack. Sunset over the field next door was beautiful.

Cons: My 6’1 husband found the upstairs a little tight but it was part of the adventure!

Cons: The road traffic can be a bit loud at times - but overall very peaceful and calming.

Colchester stay

Pros: The location is rural but within 10 miles of centre of Colchester or Mersea Beach which means less than 30mins drive

Great for short stays

Pros: Very well presented property nicely finished and comfortable

Cons: Very limited space for cooking simple meals only. Upper level very comfortable and nicely done but not suitable for the taller person because of roof angle Limiting height ok for us as quite short
