Pros: Our hosts were very welcoming and accommodating. The property and grounds were well presented in a peaceful location.

Was in a perfect location for the reason for our stay. It was a beautiful character filled building

Pros: The character of the building and the beautiful gardens and the huge comfy bed

Cons: With character comes tightness of some spaces

Pros: Very cozy cottage. Comfy bed. The host was lovely and the breakfast was yummy. I also got excited about the local honey they harvest from their own bees!

Pros: Atmospheric, period property with cottage garden surroundings. Our room was a good size with a comfortable bed & was very peaceful. The breakfast was excellent but not included in the price.

Cons: I was initially asked to pay a further £15 for an early check in as we were going to a celebration that started at 2pm. However, upon arrival this charge was waived.

Great place to stay

Pros: Lovely old building, very peaceful, room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was cooked to perfection and was really tasty. Despite having a broken foot the owner couldn't do enough for me. Will definitely return

Convenient location for Stansted airport and for the wedding venue (the reason for the visit).

Pros: The team were very helpful with all our requests to help with wrapping presents, first aid and space to work. The house is at the lower end of the village so not disurbed by aircraft noise

Cons: Pity it was very, very wet as the garden looked lovely and we couldn't enjoy it.

Pros: Good sized rooms, pleasant staff and handy location to airport.

Cons: The front door lock that had to be locked on going out and in. Key was awkward. Being requested to pay a fee for being one hour early for check in. 4pm is a late check in.
