A lovely place for a relaxing break.
Pros: The cottage was comfy, clean & had everything you needed for a pleasant stay. It is located minutes from the high street, beach & marshes. The top floor bedroom has wonderful views. The parking space at the Cottage is an added bonus, there are very few of those in Aldeburgh. Places in easy reach include Framlingham, Snape, Thorpeness, Sutton Hoo & Woodbridge. The high street has fish & chips, clothes, co op, pubs, cafes, art, & gift shops. The pebble beach has fishing huts selling fresh fish & dogs are allowed on beach from end of September. There is also a cinema in the high street. Longshore is situated on one of the quieter roads & we found it very peaceful. It was our 2nd visit.
Cons: Nothing it was all great.

One of the best.
Pros: Location excellent, minutes from high street & beach. Cottage comfy, warm & very clean with a parking space. Had everything you needed for a comfortable break. Cottage on quiet street , added bonus of a garden especially useful for the dog. Beautiful walks over the marshes a few minutes from cottage.
Cons: Nothing it was perfect.

Pros: Longshore is a very comfortable house with everything you need. The location is perfect, and private parking was excellent.
Cons: It would have been helpful to have firelighters to start the logburner on arrival

Nice property in a lovely town
Pros: Nice well equipped property in a good location with off road parking. As two couples the two bedrooms and two bathrooms was essential.
Cons: The heating was on some undisclosed program and the property was exceptionally cold on arrival and despite turning up the thermostat it remained cold for the first 2 days. The TV is very old and doesn’t have WiFi connectivity nor an HDMI connector which would have allowed me to connect the WiFi TV adapter I had with me. We were therefore stuck with terrestrial channels only and in winter on very wet days like we had this is not acceptable. During the rain the back gutters overflowed and flooded around the back door and the high wind drove rainwater through the top bedroom balcony door as well as making this bedroom very cold and draughty. Communication with the agency prior to our stay was appalling. I emailed them twice in the run up to the stay about an early entry but neither were responded to. Then with 3 days to go I received a “ form” standard email offering a range of bolt on extras including early entry but by then we had re planned our drive to Suffolk to meet the original set entry time so did not accept the offer. Typical lack-lustre agency. Good job nothing bad went wrong with our stay because I’m sure there would have been no response.

Pros: Lovely cottage with secure garden for the dog. Clean and comfortable and close to the beach, town etc
Cons: I can't think of any improvements, I think the hosts have thought of everything.
