Fantastic coastal cottage

Pros: Perfect location - right in the middle of Aldeburgh but just off the high street. The room layout was perfect for us (family of 3 plus grandparents). We were toasty warm thanks to the fire and radiators. Great communication from the hosts - we felt well looked after.

Cons: Some more sockets upstairs would have been helpful but we appreciate it might be difficult in this property.

A great comfortable and enjoyable stay

Pros: Great central location but quite safe area. Aldburgh is a lovely town

Cons: Parking was a bit hit and miss. The cottage was beautiful and comfortable but some of the decor was a bit end of season and some of the cutlery was not clean

A nice little break in Aldborough

Pros: It was very convenient for the main High Street. The parking was quite good. There was always a parking spot outside .

Cons: The dishwasher was rusty inside and we thought didn’t wash very good. The taps downstairs needed replacement The shower kept on going hot and cold and could be quite dangerous, if an elderly person was in there Would have been nice to have had a little TLC on the property in places?

It was a great place to stay for a getaway over the Christmas period.

Pros: The location was fantastic just tucked behind the high street, so in easy reach for most things including the beach. Lovely welcome package from the rental company.

Cons: The TV was small and not modern enough.

Pros: A beautiful cottage and so well located for the town and beach.

Cons: One of the bathrooms had only a bath and would benefit from having a hand hose attachment for washing your hair!

Comfortable and convenient for a mix of work and holiday

Pros: The characterful property with its simply styled bedrooms and the lovely fresh decor in the living room and kitchen, which together made a very attractive space. The plentiful hot water, comfortable beds and generous number of towels, and the well equipped kitchen. The location so close to the High Street and beach.

Cons: The rather gloomy atmosphere at the back of the house – a table and two chairs and some greenery/planters on the back terrace would really enhance it. I couldn't work out how to turn on the central heating, which was a nuisance in such a cold week, but as we were out a lot it difn't really matter. And I would have liked a kitchen towel as well as the tea towels and bath towels.

Cons: The bath didn’t fill. The dishwasher didn’t work and there was no welcome pack or area information

Cosy cottage - great location

Pros: Location was lovely - tucked away but close to shops and restaurants It is a cosy little cottage, kitchen had everything we needed Beds were very comfy.....we all had a good night's sleep

Cons: Think there should be a gate in the kitchen at the top of the stairs leading to the lower bedroom. Would be a worry if small children stayed TV was very small The sofas are due a clean

Relaxing break

Pros: Delightful little cottage so close to everything very comfortable

Cons: Dishwasher couldn't get to work leak upstairs sink need to make sure taps turned off properly a bit of harden furniture

Pretty cottage, fantastic location. Peredect for our short break

Pros: Brilliant location - well furnished. Helpful staff

Cons: Not needed for our short visit. But a washing machine would be a useful addition. The provider did very helpfully offer to assist with laundry if needed. Not an issue for our short stay.
