Beautiful house perfect for a large group

Pros: The perfect house for a large group. Rented to attend a wedding in the area and was perfect for a good base. The house was clean and beds very comfortable. Good communication from host who gave clear instructions on how to get to the property and was attentive during our stay also.

Cons: Only issue was some leaking from light fittings in the kitchen when showers were on. Also thank you to one of the previous reviews - if you are booking please ensure that you contact booking.com re the city tax that they charge. I enquired about this and was immediately refunded.

Great place to stay for the weekend

Pros: A great place to stay to catch up with friends and explore Bury St Edmunds. Lovely pub in the village. Comfy beds and a well equipped place to stay.

Cons: We had no complaints.

Perfect for a large family gathering

Pros: Lovely large house for 10 of us to stay in for a nearby family wedding. Plenty of bathrooms and a downstairs toilet. Excellent host who responded quickly to messages.

Cons: Dining area not ideal for two over-80’s (high bar stools). Everything else was great.

Pros: Breakfast was not part of our agreement. The location was excellent for our purposes. The downstairs area (kitchen, sitting area) in particular were great. The play area in the garden was fantastic for our grandchildren.

Cons: It would be useful to have towel racks in every bathroom. Towels had to be hung on the banister. There was no storage at all in at least one of the bedrooms which is awkward. It would be ideal to have a ahower on the top floor. The shower in the first floor shared bathroom is not easy to work.
