A beautiful little cottage, home from home, close to everything-Highly recommend!!

Pros: This lovely little cottage is in a great location, a minute walk from a lovely pub The Fox, that serves food/Sunday roast. 4/5 mins walk into the edge of town. The property was cozy, with the main feature of using the log burner. Great bathroom, and lovely bedroom, with ample storage. There was a descriptive guest manual, that was full of easy to follow instructions should you need help with the property. The hosts Tom/Ali were so accommodating from start to finish, communication was fab! Be amazing to visit again in the warmer months and see Bury and the Abbey gardens in bloom. Would highly recommend this property.

Cons: As we visited in the colder months, as you may expect with an older property, a slight chill if the wood burner wasn’t on. There is of course a separate storage heater in the front room. My only feedback would be perhaps considering a curtain across the front and back door, which would make it more cozy and remedy this. The upstairs was lovely and toasty though. This is minor and did not spoil our stay at all, hence 10/10 scoring.
