Homely & Warm Trumpington House w Parking

Great hosts, the house was clean, comfortable and dog friendly.

Pros: It was perfect for what we needed for visiting my husband in Addenbrokes and it housed 4 people and a dog quite comfortably. It also had a small enclosed patio and parking. The hosts were lovely, communication was very friendly and helpful and they responded very quickly to all of my questions about the area, dog walks, bus routes etc and extra requests for additional nights which really helped smooth the trip for us.

Cons: There were a couple of little issues, but the hosts were lovely and sorted them out very quickly. The only thing that hadn’t got resolved by the time we left was the thermostat on the shower, but that was going to be fixed.

Excellent property

Pros: Good location easy access to Papworth Hospital Comfortable beds Well presented and very clean Excellent hosts, sorted and issue with the freezer out very quickly Quiet area with parking and easy access to local shop (Waitrose)

Cons: Only a minor issue, but we couldn't find a baking tray/grill pan in order to grill/cook things in the oven. I think the bed in the main room is a bit big for the room, it was a bit of a struggle for my disabled husband to navigate round the bed as there was a very small gap between the bed and wardrobe

Excellent modern house

Pros: Lovely, modern & cozy house with all necessary facilities. Located in a quiet area. The whole house is presented to a high standard, with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms upstairs and a smaller toilet downstairs. Kitchen includes all necessary facilities to be able to cook yourself and has a dining table. Parking space available too. Great Wifi connection. We used the nearby park and ride to get into the city, this is a short walk from the house. There are supermarkets nearby too. Communication with the hosts was prompt, and they provided useful information about the house and local area which was great being new to Cambridge. Thank you to the hosts for being so helpful and welcoming, we appreciated the chocolates & will definitely book again when visititng Cambridge!!

Cons: Nothing at all!! If I had to nit pick & of no fault to the hosts, I'd say another fan would be needed for downstairs due to the recent hot weather, however there are 2 pedestals at the property so not a big deal. Also not a big deal; had issues with the oven which was communicated to the hosts, & they quickly got back to me to say they'd look into it and supply instructions for future guests.

Good place for stay in Cambridge

Pros: Very good location and easy access to hospital and Trumpington Park and Ride to access city centre

Pros: Wonderfully clean. Very cosy especially with the violent storm. Comfortable beds. Minutes from park and ride. Lovely artwork. Highly recommend.

Cons: Nothing.
