Weekend break

Pros: Very quiet secluded and peaceful, we had a very relaxing weekend. The hot tub worked superbly and the kitchen had everything that you could possibly need. It was sympathetically furnished and restored to reflect the time and era and was overall stunning. Would highly recommend a visit.

It’s an absolutely lovely place and the only sound at Breakfast time was the birds singing.

Pros: The hot tub, the patio, the view, the main bedroom. It’s altogether a lovely place to stay.

Cons: There are no small windows to have open to get a through breeze, it was very warm.

Pros: Amazing place, tranquil, sooo comfortable, host is so helpful and friendly. Cartlodge is a great place to go to re charge your batteries. Lodge has everything you need. Can't wait to go back again.

We would definitely stay in this cottage again

Pros: Location, peaceful, clean and everything was to a high standard. All three of us very much enjoyed our one week stay in this cottage. We would definitely stay here again.

Modern, peaceful, relaxing

Pros: Lovely location, clean, modern, peaceful and relaxing. Loved sitting out on the deck next to the lake, with a glass of vino and watching the baby ducking or listening to all the birds. The owner was helpful and friendly and we would be happy to visit again 😊

Cons: We had a bit of bad luck that the motor died on the hot tub. Owner did everything he could to fix it....that said it didn't spoil the break, but it would have been an added bonus.

Country retreat.

Pros: Beautiful location, quiet and tranquil. Spacious accommodation, especially upstairs area, loads of room and large bathroom /dressing area. Veranda with hot tub overlooking pond.

Cons: Nothing we didn't like, but would advise that the stairs are steep, not suitable for most with mobility issues. Otherwise superb.

Pros: This place is amazing ...so much thought from the hosts and a lovely contained environment for our dogs. Super power shower and lovely decoration. The wood burner is lovely and comforting and over all a relaxing peaceful retreat. Dont think anymore just book ...bring your home comforts and get ready for the blood pressure to drop
