The Lodge is a welcoming little cottage of exceptional cleanliness - can only recommend!

Pros: My family and I stayed there in advance of my wedding nearby and our stay at The Lodge was quite simply the best short-term cottage rental/airbnb-style rental I have ever used. The cleanliness of this house was outstanding - quite simply the most clean and tidy rental I have ever stayed at. We had the use of a full kitchen, with lots of useful tools (I needed to assemble wedding cakes); the rest of the house was warm and welcoming, perfectly furnished, especially the bedrooms, which were wonderful. The owners were very helpful and I would without doubt stay here again.

Cons: Everything was just exactly as it would have been staying at ones' own home - it was simply an exceptional stay. Nothing could have been improved upon, with the minor exception of a sign in the carpark showing where to park (in the dark this is not easy to find, so we had to telephone the hosts, after which they very kindly helped us).

Excellent location and accommodation, very easy to liaise with host.

Pros: Spacious accommodation for 6, very clean and comfortable with all kitchen facilities. All bedrooms en suite. Very close to town with good shopping outlets. Good communication with host and all arrangements generally easy to follow.

Cons: Nearly missed seeing the information about laundry linen arrangements on leaving- at front of house information book but maybe could also be a notice on the wall by the laundry bags.

Perfect location. Beautifully clean. Cozy and comfortable.

Pros: The location was perfect. Just a short walk to shops and places to eat. The Lodge was so clean and well maintained. Beautifully stocked kitchen for cooking meals. Warm and cozy for our evenings in. I would love to go back and stay again.

Cons: There was nothing at all I did not like.
