lovely, cosy stay at beautiful cottage

Pros: the four-legged neighbours; beautiful, relatively newly refurbished cottage; good location for duxford and cambridge; we liked that we could manage the temperature of the cottage ourselves; good shopping just a short drive away

Cons: as very often the mattresses were too firm for our taste, a softer mattress cover layer probably would have helped; there were a few issues that didn't bother us too much and hopefully will be resolved by lovely host for next guests like thermostat of the shower; it's very close to the main road, so can be a bit noisy, if you're sensible

Horseheath - Long weekend

Pros: Super happy with the location, stayed here for an event that was on at the racecourse across the road and it was perfect. Anastasia replied promptly and always a joy to speak to. Amenities was spot on, wanted for nothing Plenty of parking, at least 4 cars!

Pros: Great location with lots of things to do close by (Duxford IWM, Linton Zoo, Cambridge). Host is quick to answer questions and solve any problems.

Cons: There is noise from the road close by, including passing lorries. Was not bothering us especially with windows closed, but do not expect a very quiet location.

Comfortable place to stay!

Pros: Situated in a quiet pleasant area. The house was nicely decorated and furnished. Beds were very comfortable, there were plenty of towels and the bathroom and kitchen were well equipped and modern. There was tea, coffee and condiments provided. Communication between us and the property manager was good and any queries were answered promptly. We would definitely stay again.

Cons: We had to study how to work the oven and electric hob top as they were new to us. I think a folder with the operating instructions for these and maybe the heating would be useful.

Pros: House was very nicely furnished and equipped. Very high standard. Location was lovely and peaceful

Cons: Signpost to drive was easy to miss

Pros: Good location and lovely and clean. Great facilities.

Cons: We agree with no mow May, but it would have been nice for a bit of a garden tidy to be done and the weeds in the gutters.

Pros: We had a fantastic stay at Horseheath, the property was spotless and very well maintained in a lovely location. After visiting the Battle of Britain show at Duxford it was a very welcome sight after a long day. Very comfortable beds, free wifi excellent, the cosmetics in the bathroom were a nice touch as were the nibbles & water in the kitchen. Thanks for a brilliant stay, highly recommended, we will be back.

Cons: Nothing, everything as it should be, could not fault it at all.
