Beautiful location and home we highly recommend!

Pros: Perfect location, clean, great size and very cozy and comfortable! We absolutely loved our stay and the staff were so helpful and kind. It was so nice being at the front of a farm in such a picturesque location conveniently situated between Cambridge and Saffron Walden not to mention some other small towns nearby. We are visiting from Australia during winter so the staff ensured the house was nice and warm when we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make our stay one we won’t forget! Our children were in heaven and just loved it.

Peace & relaxation

Pros: The house is situated on a private estate which is a very tranquil setting. It is exceptionally and tastefully furnished. Gardens front and rear with a table and bench set to enjoy a drink on a summer evening. The property was cleaned to a high standard and the welcome snack basket awaiting our arrival was a lovely surprise. There is wildlife to observe and listen to which all added to the peaceful surroundings. I highly recommend staying at this property, it is within easy driving distance of the small village of Linton which has some lovely quaint shops and a small bakery which make the most fabulous sausage rolls and cakes, there is also seating upstairs to enjoy the aforementioned delicacies. Cambridge is only a short driving distance from the property. The property has ample space for a family with 3 very good sized bedrooms a family bathroom upstairs and a downstairs toilet.

Cons: In all honesty I cannot think of any negative points to make about this property.

Pros: We thoroughly enjoy our stay at the property. The host responses to messages quickly. The house is clean and all th facilities are well maintained. The environment is a big plus.

Heerlijk verblijf met veel privacy en prima lokatie

Pros: Mooi vrijstaand huis met veel ruimte, we waren met 5 volwassenen. Heerlijke bank. Lekker rustig en alle privacy. Linton is leuk en vlakbij (5 minuten met auto), de Linton Zoo vonden we geweldig en liefdevol en Cambridge is niet ver en goed bereikbaar met de Park and Ride. De oprijlaan naar het huis geeft een rijk gevoel.

Cons: Ik miste tuinmeubilair, er staat alleen een picknicktafel maar geen tuinstoel om lekker te zitten lezen. Keuken was ruim en had veel. Alleen pannenlappen, echt grote pan en onderzetters zouden nog welkom zijn. Het was schoon maar paar dingen waren vergeten, heb dat doorgegeven dus dat is een volgende keer vast beter.

Prima gelegen voor Cambridge en omgeving.

Pros: Het huis was zeer ruim en gezellig ingericht. De keuken was van alle gemakken voorzien alleen helaas niet al te schoon. De aanwezige handdoeken waren fijn en ruim voldoende. Goede uitvalsbasis naar Cambridge en verdere omgeving.

Cons: Internet werkte in het begin niet/slecht. Pas nadat we op woensdag de router opnieuw opgestart hadden werkte het prima. Contact met de verhuurder is er totaal niet, je ziet niemand. Sleutel moet je uit kluisje halen. Verder mocht je niet over het landgoed lopen, alleen op je eigen stukje tuin blijven (die in de schaduw ligt het grootste deel van de dag) Het huis was niet echt goed schoongemaakt, plakkende pannen en oven. kruimels op de bank enz. Het in en uit bad stappen om te douchen is op een bepaalde leeftijd ook niet al te handig en het 2 persoons bed zat vol kuilen waardoor je elke morgen brak opstond.
