The host was extremely helpful, the house was clean, smelt like and perfect for a family to stay in.

Pros: It was a home away from home - very inviting everything there required for a stay whether it be a long stay or short stay.

Cons: The steepness of the stairs was my only concern.

Central, clean and quiet space to get away from the hustle and bustle of London!

Pros: I had artists stay here as part of an artist residency in Southend and they loved it! They said the apartment was perfect for their two families with a young child each. It’s very central to Southend but also quiet. Nice and clean and great facilities.

Pros: Nice quiet street, the layout of the house was nice, and spacious. The beds were made and the house clean when we arrived. The sitting area outside was nice and quiet, like our own little world. The dining table was a good height, and the lounge layout made the most of the room. We didn't really use the parking, but in some ways it was easier for people to collect us and drop us off round the front.

Cons: There were only 2 fans so the single bedroom went without a fan, making the room a bit stuffer and warmer than it could have been. I slept ontop of the best the first night. The toilet upstairs didn't lock, but we worked round this by only using the downstairs bathroom. The stairs were quite narrow compared to at home, and I had to turn my feet sideways to go down, hit rhats just getting used to a new house. One of my friends had the double at the front of the house, and struggled to sleep the first night because of the mattress, again this could just be adjusting to a new house, but she felt it was quite lumpy, possibly due to age/adjusting to a different bed than her own. For some reason, the coffee pod machine kept leaking when we tried to use it.
