The Coach House Barn - Valley Farm

Pros: The coach house is a fantastic place to stay, my family and I stayed in February, the log fire was amazing, it was lovely to sit as a family in the living room with the log fire going. The coach house was spotless, very clean, the beds were comfortable, everything we needed was there, we didn't want for anything. The living room and kitchen are very spacious, as well as the bedrooms. There's such a lovely cottage feel to the place, we loved looking out the windows and seeing horses just outside the front door, it's very private and out of the way of noisy roads and light pollution, the stars are very bright on a clear night. On the day we were to leave, we were not rushed out, we were told to leave when we were ready to, which made life so much easier for us. We have stayed in many holiday let's on booking.com and this was by far the best. We plan to go back again in the summer.

Cons: Lack of shower … Hair washing long hair is very challenging without a shower !

Pros: Spacious, clean, has everything a family or small group could need. Perfect log fire for cosy nights in. Comfortable and open living space for groups watching the TV or playing a board game. Perfect place for staying in the area or for those travelling around. Area is very peaceful and on a small farm. Kids loved being able to wave to the farm animals in the field opposite. Hosts were excellent - left a nice note and small treat for us on arrival, all information in a folder, and easy to get hold of. In short - highly recommended!

Excellent Rental

Pros: Fantastic property, space and location for a secluded getaway, we had Christmas here and loved it. Great cooking facilities, great living area with 3 large comfy sofas and a log fire with more logs provided as you need them

Cons: No shower which was fine but would be a good addition

Pros: Nothing not to like. We had a lovely chilled weekend. Highly recommend the coach house barn.

Pros: It was a very warm, comfortable stay. We would certainly recommend it, and would happily return.

Cons: The only downside for us was the beams in the bedroom ceilings . My husband crowned himself a few times. However, a towel over the beam helped tremendously . We also would have preferred a shower. We older people found it difficult with the bath. Personal admittedly.

Lovely rural property, surrounded by gorgeous views and nature.

Pros: Lovely barn conversion, spacious and homely. Family living space downstairs is open plan and leads on to a private garden with well established flower beds and outside dining area. The kitchen is well equipped and spacious, covering all your needs. Loved the photos on the wall of the original conversion of the property. The bedrooms are a good size and offer lovely views. We wanted somewhere to relax and unwind and this property was ideal. The sounds of the horses and birds in the morning felt a million miles away from the usual hassle and bustle of working and school life.

Cons: Nothing, we would book again.

Beautiful place to stay amidst lovely animals and farmland

Pros: Spacious and beautiful property. Comfortable beds. Lovely garden and views.

Cons: The oven is tricky to work out and makes the property hot as it always seems to be warm but this is a minor criticism as we love this place.

Pros: perfect location , well appointed and perfect for our short break.

A great countryside retreat

Pros: The Coach House Barn was wonderful. A lovely, peaceful, countryside retreat. Very comfortable rooms and beds and great facilities. We especially enjoyed going for a short stroll in the grounds and admiring the horses outside the barn.
