Fantastic few days away great cottage very comfy and at the heart of the village

Pros: Great property right in the heart of the village near the lake and short walk to beach, very well equipped and comfortable

Pros: We used the Kitchen Cafe opposite a few times it was lovely

Cons: Stairs may be an issue for some but the annex with a bedroom and bathroom will help those having difficulty. Cottage in a lovely location.

Coastal stay at Thorpeness

Pros: Welcome pack. Location and views of The Meare . Decor and fittings. Large bathroom. Comfortable bed and crisp sheets. Well fitted kitchen. Chairs and tables outside. Plenty of room. Colour of house. Helpful instructions for things to visit. Close to The Kitchen for breakfast and Emporium for gifts. Lovely walk along coast path to Aldeburgh.

Cons: Stairs were rather narrow and steep.

Pros: Location was perfect and the cottage was clean,, beautifully furnished and comfortable. Ideal for a couple. The welcome pack was a lovely addition.

Cons: The staircase is very steep and narrow. A baking tray and smaller saucepans would have been useful.

Comfortable, private yet in a good position for food, local visits, beach walks and lovely views.

Pros: Location was lovely. Peaceful but near to facilities and other places to visit. Comfortable and heating etc adjustable to the changeable British summer. Welcome pack was very welcome! We enjoyed our visit and would like to come again sometime, especially if we could book the annex too for family.

Cons: TV could have more channels available. Had to be a little careful on the narrow stairs. These would not put us off returning again sometime soon however.

Pros: Thorpeness is a delightful place to visit. 1 South Cotrages was a lovely place to stay. Only small problem was the stairs they were very steep and narrow. But we managed them

A lovely short break in a very lovely cottage

Pros: Really great location. Everything you need in the cottage. Comfy sofas. Nice outdoor seating

Clean cosy cottage in very convenient location.

Pros: Very clean little cottage. Beds firm and comfortable. Welcome pack of wine, crisps and choc biscuits! Only 100 yds to shingle beach. Can park car right outside.

Cons: Oven tricky to use, oven knobs got hot. We didn't mind the steep stairs but some might find them difficult to manage.
