Beach Walk Cottage

Pros: Lovely position very near Beach & town centre. Within walking distance there is a large Aldi & M & S food hall. Nicole the owner is very helpful and quick to respond. She alsomorganised a parking permit for us as our car would not fit on the front garden.

Cons: The house is a work in progress, so lots more to be done & Nicole has been upfront about this in her comments to reviews. But this is personal preference for me, the owner obviously lives in the house in between bookings & I was very uncomfortable staying with all her personal items around, especially in the kitchen, the cupboards,fridge & freezer all full of her food. Thats the only negative for me.

Pros: Exactly as described and spotless. Central location; handy for train, buses beach and town centre Host very responsive and helpful.

Cons: No reflection on the property whatsoever but there wasn’t a single place to eat in Walton on the Naze on a Monday night in January. We did try to check this beforehand but unfortunately not all local establishments bother to update their websites. No matter, the house was well equipped, so a trip to Tesco Express and we fed ourselves.

Really nice town centre home.

Pros: The house was ready and clean. Everything we needed was available. The house was very homely. There was good contact from the owner.

Cons: Restricted parking space, but it's OK for a small car.

Dogs loved it , we loved it. Host very helpful with everything from parking and information.

Pros: Location was perfect. Beaches were fantastic Shops enough to get by on. People very dog friendly

Cons: the stairs were a bit steep and no carpet. Lots of rubbish down the outside drive

Pros: Close to the beach. Nicely decorated and didn’t smell of dogs even though a dog friendly house.

Cons: The outside area at the back could do with a little TLC .

Pros: Fantastic location within easy walking distance of the beach and the town centre of Walton-on-the-Naze. Free parking in front of the property.

Pros: Dog friendly cottage with all facilities , great location, permitted parking arranged by owner or if you had a small car could of parked on the drive. Just as advertised.
