Hawthorn Glen Lodges

Excellent base to explore the Fens.

Pros: The Hawthorn Glen Lodges were an excellent base for us to explore the Fen Lands. The Lodges are well equipped and very comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. The setting on the edge of the golf course gives a wonderfully green vista to look out on to.

Cons: The mattress was rather soft.

Pros: We loved the convenience of the private hot tub. The kitchen was well equipped. The Lodge had everything we wanted, thank you The staff were also very helpful. Our check out, even though was meant to be at 10am, we were told we could stay as long as we wanted.

Pros: The property was lovely. We really enjoyed our stay 😊

Cons: The only downside was that the checkout time was way to early. Other than that everything was great.

Warm, clean and peaceful. Hot tub was an added bonus

Pros: Warm clean and spacious, contactless check in and check out. The kitchen was stocked with cooking essentials and tea and coffee etc provided. The site was immaculate and very peaceful. Although I stayed over as working local I certainly would return for a holiday

Cons: There wasn’t anything I didn’t like, having to leave was the only part of the stay I didn’t like

Super place

Pros: Really clean and nice and warm and quiet. Hot tub was perfect temperature and ready for when we arrived. Would use again as we all had a super time.

Cons: Nothing really.

Excellent stay at hawthorn lodges. Highly recommended

Pros: Me my partner come and stay with our two children, ( 6 years and 2 months ) all the way from St Ives in Cornwall. We was visiting my partners family. The Lodge was a perfect place to stay with everything you need. Great location and train station and amenities just a short walk or drive away. The host was absolutely lovely and let us use the golf course on site free of charge. We said from the moment we walked in that we would be returning every time we are back up this way visiting family. The hot tub was an amazing added bonus for us to winddown at night.

Nice relaxing break

Pros: Very clean, good size in a pleasant and quiet location

Cons: More kitchen utensils/ crockery etc needed. It should cater for 4, and with only 2 of us we still had to keep washing up in order to provide enough plates etc

Relaxing and picturesque surroundings in Denver

Pros: Set in a beautiful location with the great river Ouse flowing past the Denver village with many walks and beautiful views. Lodge is beautiful and bonus with the hot tub. The village of Denver is well situated in between historic Ely and on the outskirts of Downham Market. We will definitely be returning here.
