A stress free stay!

Pros: The courtyard room was spacious for two humans and three dogs. The grounds were great for the dogs to explore off lead safely. The staff were really nice and very dog friendly. The breakfast we had was great, Cooked breakfast, cereals, fruit pastries.

Cons: I guess the only thing that would say that I would think could do with a little update would be the shower. In my opinion it was a bit outdated, and on the small size ( shower over the bath and a shower curtain) the bathroom is ample big enough to have a more generous shower area.

Pros: The beautiful location. The excellent courtyard where our family could gather. Excellent home cooked breakfast. Lovely friendly staff.

Pros: Very nice and helpful staff. A really big and comfortable room, superclean. A quiet and beautiful setting around. Delicious food made the time that we preferred (in our case early).

Comfortable overnight stay

Pros: I enjoyed my one night stay at Sturmer Hall in a superior room upstairs in the hall which was very comfortable and clean with beautiful surroundings. Friendly and helpful staff with plenty of choice served at breakfast.

Cons: Nothing to dislike, only improvement could be better signage for where to park, you have to drive past the hall before you see the only car park sign.

Unique and elegant hotel, great service, recommended!

Pros: The hotel is in a really beautiful location. Took me a moment to find my way in, it feels like you're just walking into someone's living room! But all good from there on - friendly and helpful staff, a spacious, comfortable and well-equipped room, tasty breakfast, and well located for what I needed.

Cons: On a hot summer's day, it was hard to get the shower cool enough.

Pros: Staff were amazing so friendly and kind. Loved the seating area outside the room.

Cons: No air con in the room which was fair enough but also no windows that we could keep open during the night as only the french doors, perhaps something could be done to them so they could be left ajar slightly but still secure. The room was unbearably hot.

Pros: It was very peaceful, lots of rabbits running around.. Very clean.. Lovely food..
