Fantastic one night stop over, great location.

Pros: Super comfy bed, lots of space and even outdoor seating. So much better than a hotel room. Would love to stay again, but for longer next time.

Cons: WiFi would be great.

Pros: So tranquil with added perks of seeing the family dogs. Spotlessly clean and loads of space, super comfy bed and bedding and great shower.

A Gem of a property

Pros: The location was very peaceful, truly off the beaten track. Spotlessly clean, comfy bed and excellent bathroom. Plenty of piping hot water to fill the huge bath and relax. Good location for us to see family.

Cons: There was nothing to dislike. The only thing that would be better is if the bathroom light which works on a sensor went off quicker when you finished. We like a window open at night so left the bathroom door open as that is the only window. Night time visits meant shutting the door then reopening. Everything else was perfect for us.

Perfect place to stay if you like the countryside and animals

Pros: The lovely welcome I recieved from the family and dogs was so nice after a 6hour drive . I went to see the goats before my room ! Erica and Josh are wonderful hosts and even invited us to their bonfire / music that night . The bed was the comfiest bed I’ve ever slept in . I loved the big bath . It’s a beautiful place to stay and only a few miles from Colchester . So much nicer than a hotel chain .
