Cambridgeshire Wabi-sabi

Enjoyed a relaxing break. It was very convenient for Cambridge and nearby National Trust Wimpole.

Pros: Very clean well appointed accommodation in a peaceful picturesque village. Easy free parking. All exactly as described.

Pros: It was really lovely, had everything that we needed for our stay. Area was nice and quiet, pub was lovely and the shop, while small, had a good selection. Shower pressure was excellent and we had plenty of hot water.

Cons: Nothing, was just as advertised.

Beautifully quaint and extremely clean little property . Cant wait to go back

Pros: It’s a beautiful little property in an absolutely gorgeous little village . The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful.

Cons: Not a didn’t like, but just need to be aware it’s a very quaint little place and there is only a small rail for you to hang your clothing .

Lovely Space

Pros: The host was lovely. The space was lovely and clean, and we felt very welcome. The village was lovely, the local pub is great, and the post office does snacks like samosas, which we enjoyed. The bed was comfortable. We appreciated the fan too, especially after an evening dancing

Cons: Very very small issues - We would have liked a small stove so we could make a bacon sandwich, not the end of the world, but would have been nice, particularly as we couldn't find anywhere in the village to buy a breakfast sandwich. We also could have done with a mirror near a plug socket- we were attending a wedding at the nearby barrington hall, so I wanted to curl my hair. I was able to use the little mirror in one of my make up palettes, so it was all fine in the end, but would have been more comfortable with a small mirror near a socket. A full length mirror might have also been nice. Our stay was still brilliant though

Pros: The accommodation was a great the room was spacious enough for 2 people.

Cons: It was very warm during our stay you can’t really open any windows to create air flow. More storage would be beneficial and maybe a bench or something outside would have been nice.

Pleasant comfortable accommodation with lovely surrounding countryside

Pros: Easy to access. Lovely location, quiet area and pub and shop situated within walking distance close. Fridge provided.

Cons: Limited ability to open windows so will need a fan in hot weather (which the host did offer)

Pros: We loved the shower! It's like a spa!! The cleanliness of the apartment is so welcoming and is in such a safe area. The facilities are so cute, and everything from the checking in/out instructions down to the last detail of the mini-fridge and amenities was superb! Would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants a cosy getaway in this tranquil area!

Pros: Comfy little place. Great bathroom facilities and under floor heating, comfy bed.

Cons: No tv. Also a bit of an odd smell in the place.

Pros: I liked the ease of entry and the arrangements to get the keys.The bed was really comfy and the bathroom was lovely...the shower was amazing.was lovely and quiet and very picturesque. We will definitely be back though...the location is perfect for us and great value for money.

Cons: The small kitchen area spoilt the rustic feel in my opinion the stainless steel was really out of place although I can see the practicality of it, it looks very clinical.Also a TV would be a benefit. There were just some finishing touches that need doing to make this property exceptional. Ie ceiling needed painting was bare plaster and the outside of the building needs rendering to make it asthetically more pleasing.
