Perfect accommodation for a wedding in the village

Pros: The house was lovely, having a cup of tea in the quiet sunny garden was perfect. The location was great the village was lovely, every neighbour said hello. The host was absolutely brilliant, he couldn't do enough for us. I would highly recommend this property.

Fab little cottage in a gorgeous location

Pros: Location and was very comfortable. The owner was super friendly and assisted when we needed. Cosy and comfortable and we will be back.

Charming property well kept by helpful friendly hosts

Pros: The location to the venue we were attending a wedding was amazingly close which was very handy. The 400 year old thatched cottage is very charming and incredibly well kept. The hosts were very helpful and accommodating.

Pros: We knew exactly what to expect from this lovely cottage based on the pictures and reviews. We celebrated my mothers in law birthday in this cottage. She loves everything English (we’re from The Netherlands) so she was absolutely in love with the place! The kitchen was well ecquipped and Tim was very kind to sort out the coffee situation for us as coffee drinkers! Also a fair price/quality ratio for the cottage in comparison to other places in the same area... If you want to travel to a quirky but peaceful cottage, this is the place to visit.

Cons: We knew about the hot water ‘situation’ in the bathroom. Not ideal but we were prepared. Also, for the elderly the cottage is not that accesible.

Pros: Tim was very helpful and friendly on arrival and throughout the lead up to our weekend away answering messages in a timely and helpful manner. We loved our stay in this gorgeous cottage. Ideal location to attend our friend’s wedding at South Farm. The cottage was clean, very spacious and well equipped.

So quirky

Pros: It was wonderful ,something different if you don't like staying in travel lodges. Very quirky and uneven made me smile full of character.

Cons: Bushes abit over grown so dose not show the full beauty of the front of the house but it has beeb summer .

Great place authentic English country cottage. And great owners to deal with.

Pros: It was a lovely quaint English thatched cottage exactly as advertised. Owners were very good at communicating etc. it had a great authentic feel with the wood beams and original plaster interior and with a modern kitchen I can’t fault it really. Sitting out front with a coffee in the sun was a peaceful way to spend and hour reading on a Sunday morning.

Cons: I think only two issues. The double bed are quite short but then they are standard doubles. Myself and partner are over 6ft. Only other thing was that the stairs are very uneven so could pose an issue for elderly or infirm. Or could do with a hand rail.

A delightful weeked in a sweet village. Perfect for the family!

Pros: Loved the privacy, how its hidden away from the main road tucked in a gorgeous garden. It felt like a fairy house! Adorable Plenty of comfy places for sitting and relaxing, kitchen equipped with everything we needed. Garden was lovely.

Cons: Beds could be more comfortable, mattresses could use an upgrade.
