The Mill B&B

Great location for a large family needing communal spaces.

Pros: The quiet setting, surrounded by fields. The host was excellent. They live on site. The rooms were comfortable and warm. Had full use of all the communal spaces, as I was the only guest. The continental breakfast was ample and fresh. Good dining space. Freshly made bread is a nice touch. Easy parking.

Cons: The road to the place is not great for a low suspension. 4x4s will have no issue. The communal spaces, including the kitchen facilities are a shared space between the 5 bedrooms so great for a large single group. Might be less attractive for couples wanting a room and privacy. Some improvements to kitchen equipment, like the pans required.

Very clean and comfortable. Piers was very friendly and helpful.

Pros: Good selection of cereals and Piers made us a lovely homemade loaf,very enjoyable.

Pros: Great property , quiet , we were lucky to have it to ourselves . All the comforts of home. Comfortable bed, large kitchen . Fresh water .

Piers was very welcoming, just wish we could have stayed longer.

Pros: The property is in a quiet location. The house was perfect and very clean. The garden, natural pool and patio area was a great space to relax.

Cons: Nothing to dislike.

Very nice 1 night stay conveniently located to RAF Lakenheath if you want to see the jets

Pros: Piers left home baked bread and home made preserves out for breakfast - especially early as he knew I was checking out very early. Location convenient for RAF Lakenheath photo shoot. Communal/seating kitchen area nicely laid out and good recycling facilities. I was only there one night so didn't use the garden area but think this would be very nice to sit out in if staying longer.

Cons: As a number of the rooms were empty during my stay parking wasn't a problem but can imagine if all the rooms were full it would be tight although perhaps there is alternative parking somewhere?

Wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy this beautiful bed & breakfast.

Pros: Piers was very welcoming - a perfect host! Beautiful property. Immaculately maintained and spotlessly clean. Extremely comfortable. Robes and slippers were a lovely touch. Beautiful setting. Plenty on offer for breakfast.

Cons: There wasn’t anything we didn’t like.

Beautiful place - very rural.

Pros: The property is beautiful and in tranquil surroundings. The room was comfortable and the bathroom was clean and practical. The host was welcoming and gave a lot of good advice for the stay. The breakfast self service was ok and I appreciated access to fresh fruit all day. Everything in place for a good night's sleep.

Cons: The location is quite far from any transport and the telephone reception was poor. I struggled to get taxis so I would say it's essential you are prepared to get around by car.

Something abit different. Loved it there.

Pros: Lovely rooms. Great communal area where we could put food in a fridge and prepare snacks. Also lovely garden area and we swam in the pool. Homemade bread and jams and their own eggs.

The Mill is conducive to a thoroughly relaxing experience

Pros: The Mill is a beautiful property in a secluded spot set amidst countryside and wildlife. Piers is a superb host who is very talented at bread making! There are no time constraints at the Mill and the whole set up is conducive to a thoroughly relaxing experience.

Cons: There is nothing to dislike about the Mill.
