Cozy country escape.

Pros: Clean, warm cozy. Friendly staff great atmosphere.

Cons: Bar was closed at 10pm on a Saturday evening? Breakfast was very good but definitely overpriced for what was served.

Home from home.

Pros: Spotless. Staff efficient and friendly. Didn’t hear a sound once I put the light out. Powerful shower. Outstanding full English breakfast!

Cons: Wouldn’t have minded some fresh fruit at breakfast. Don’t bother with pre-packed pastries - they’re always a disappointment. Couldn’t find anywhere to hang clothes in the room. I’m nitpicking - overall, it was lovely and good value.

Good option if you’re attending a function in the marquee.

Pros: We stayed in a budget room which was comfortable with its own entrance up a flight of outside stairs. We attended a function in the marquee so it was great to be onsite for that.

Cons: The hot water pressure wasn’t good which made showering challenging.

Overall great value for money, comfortable and staff were extremely helpful and happy .

Pros: We went to a festival at Hylands Park. It was convenient on a main route , staff were extremely helpful and friendly and our room was spotless .

Cons: We could hear some noise from a wedding that was also taking place at the venue but really these things happen and as it’s a wedding venue of course that’s going to happen occasionally. It didn’t impact on us we were shattered!!!

Pros: Good welcome when checking in..room was clean and spacious.tea and coffee supplied and bottled water.we were opposite the marquee but wasn't a problem as it stopped soon after we arrived back..had lunch when we checked in..very good..we're not breakfast people so can't comment ..all in all a good experience
