Best hotel for break in Essex

Pros: The hotel and spa are wonderful. My husband and I had a wonderful spa weekend at this hotel. The grounds are beautiful especially the Christmas decorations, the spa area: pool, jacuzzi, sauna is the best place to relax in Essex, we also visited the pub on site: the food was very tasty and good. We had a great time there and want to go back again

The chefs Julia and Anton were defo worth a mention I could have eaten anything on that menu.

Pros: Great location. Caring staff and the food was second to none. The food was exes quiet. Best dining experience I have had in a while. Staff were excellent. Will defo be rebooking and recommending to friends. Keep up the good work and high standards.

Cons: Very little to say. The pool was busy but we found loungers ok.

Great value, location, facilities, staff and food

Pros: very pleasant location, lovely staff, good facilities, value for money, top it off with a high quality menu at good value too. I travel around the UK with work, but will be using this venue again and again!

Lovely Hotel

Pros: The breakfast was really nice. I am gluten free and they brought me out gluten free toast with poached eggs and were very clear on what I could have. The fresh fruit was really lovely. I liked being able to use the gym and swimming pool in the evening and that it was open from 6 until 10 and I just needed to swipe in and out with my room card.
