Pros: Clean property and friendly staff. In particular the receptionist, Clare, made checking in and checking out an easy and uncomplicated process. She was warm and welcoming and put us at ease as soon as we arrived.

Pros: Booked 2 rooms. 1 had 3 double beds, so myself and the children had a double each, the 2nd was upgraded so was a king-sized double. Amazing!

Pros: I travelled with my son and was made feel very welcome by the receptionist on that evening. We were upgraded which made our stay even more enjoyable. The rooms were spacious and the beds were super comfy. Had a great night's sleep.

Cons: I wasn't happy to discover that we had to pay for overnight parking as this wasn't stated when booking.

Very pleased with my stay and will definitely be returning

Pros: We were upgraded for free as a surprise and the room was lovely.

Cons: The lift was a little outdated as well as the hallway but the room and reception was very nice.

Excellent apart from breakfast facilities.

Pros: Comfortable beds. Quiet location in hotel. Clean and lots of space

Cons: There was no lift facilities for disable person to get to breakfast area. Had to go up 23 steps. My mother is 102 and found not manage the stairs. Pity as great hotel

Good location, clean and comfortable with fantastic staff

Pros: We stayed here over Christmas and New Year while our son was critically ill in Basildon Hospital, the staff were so nice, they simply could not do enough to help, the food was very good, the rooms were clean and comfortable, all the staff were so helpful. We returned again after our son passed away, honestly they were so sympathetic and accommodating, if I could them a 50 star rating I would. Thanks to all for the kindness shown to us during the most difficult times of our lives, we will never forget the kindness we received.

Superb hotel with great staff

Pros: The staff were absolutely fantastic, so helpful and friendly. Huge comfy bed. Lovely view of the lake. The room was modern, with a large TV and all the accessories you needed. Cannot fault the room. Very large carpark, good bar and very good breakfast.

Cons: Pillows weren't great but they have a good range of options at reception to cater for everyone.

Pros: Lovely hotel, bedroom had super king size bed which was marvelous. Breakfast was super.

Cons: The price for parking is a bit to much(£12 per day)
