Faultless!

Pros: Everything, particularly the refreshments nook, the pillows and the beautiful bath towels.

Cons: The stairs are steep and a bit scary if you're tall.

Fantastic place clean and friendly.

Pros: Fantastic stay. Service second to none. Room was beautifully presented and spotlessly clean with the most comfortable bed slept like a top. The food in the restaurant was very good and not overpriced. I would not hesitate to stay there again. Very highly recommended.

Excellent stay in great location in the countryside near writtle

Pros: Lovely location - looks like a great pub too. Really friendly staff and so many nice touches - posh treats and big bed for the dog, nespresso machine, croissants and fruit in the room for breakfast, water in the room. Lovely big bathroom - a really great stay

Cons: Minor thing the room is quite small - but that isn't their fault

Pros: Very polite and welcoming staff. Tastefully decorated room with excellent facilities- Dyson hairdryer, coffee machine and mini fridge. Great location- close to Chelmsford but peaceful village setting.
