The Hotel is a really nice homely hotel, the space is great, staff are really friendly & hospitable

Pros: Breakfast include - that was really good. I loved the window shutters loved the conservatory loved the decoration on flowers all over the hotel. Very clean friendliness and hospitality from staff The water power from the shower was amazing.

Cons: No towel rails That it was fully booked for a wedding and could not stay longer

Great stay safe.

Pros: The stay was very welcoming and efficient. The Breakfast was excellent especially catering for gluten free. The Breakfast was served with great speed after ordering. The receptionist Declan was happy to serve us a drink at the bar even though he was working at reception, and cleaning the pumps. We were the only ones in the bar.

Cons: The bed and pillows were a little uncomfortable and the mattress was squeaky and a little tired. Otherwise the room was lovely and warm and comfortable to relax in.

Good for Southend Airport stopovers.

Pros: A great location for an overnight stay, for Southend Airport, which is just a five minute drive away. Very comfortable rooms and great staff.

Cons: We would have liked breakfast, but it doesn't commence until 8.30 at weekends. This isn't made clear on the website. However, the staff kindly allowed us to have toast and coffee prior to 8.30, which was very helpful.

Pros: Excellent location, friendly and professional staff, nothing too much trouble. Had to leave too early so missed breakfast

Pros: Nice cheerful greeting at booking in for our 1 night stay. Breakfast was very nice, but the bacon needed a little more cooking

Pros: The location as I've recently moved to Suffolk so I came down to Essex to meet friends for lunch. Then I wanted to spend the evening with my daughter watching the Strictly Come Dancing final. We got dessert from the Sainsbury's and KFC then settled in to watch the final. All staff were extremely friendly - it's nice to be greeted by happy faces.

Cons: The decor was looking a little tired but it didn't spoil our stay. Just feel the place could do with some tlc.
