Located on the seafront at Southend-On-Sea, the propert has views of The Thames Estuary. It has good food, free Wi-Fi and free parking. The train station is only 5 minutes away and the airport is reachable in less than 15 minutes. London is a 45 minute drive away. The restaurant offers a good variety of fine food with fresh local dishes. A full English breakfast is served daily. The bar has an extensive wine list and guests can enjoy their drink on the patio, which has superb sea views. The bedrooms are colourful and have an en suite bathroom. They all come with tea/coffee making facilities and many of them have sea views. Suites are also available and feature private lounges, sea views, and a balcony/garden with seating area.

Pros: Staff were extremely friendly, hotel was very clean. Our room exceeded our expectations. We stayed in the annex which was a quick walk outside, next door to the main hotel. There was breakfast available which we didn't take up on this trip but looked very nice! Complimentary hot drink selection is our room which was very thoughtful and a very good nights sleep. Fantastic location and great value for price. Can't wait to come back again! Thank you all.

Pleasant hotel, conveniently situated and sensibly priced.

Pros: Great Breakfast. Easy free parking. Free room upgrade. Pleasant helpful staff. Good restaurant for dinner.

Cons: Would have preferred a bath rather than shower, but bathroom was otherwise exclelleent

What a fab hotel.

Pros: What a fabulous hotel. It's in a great area. It felt like'cuddly'....yep. It was amazing. And as for the staff...shout out to the lady on reception and the gentleman behind the bar (sorry, we didn't get your names) and Angela. All the staff were absolutely lovely. We visit Southend to see family 2 or 3 times a year and this was our first stay. It will now be the only place we stay.

Cons: Absolutely nothing.

Pros: Location great with a cess central to the city's entertainment and tourist sites 😀

Cons: The shower facilities as only one grab rail over the bath, nothing lower around the bath top.

Pros: The location was great and parking close to the hotel. Staff we fab and super friendly

Cons: There isn’t an on site EV charger like advertised and the WiFi didn’t work during the entirety of my stay

Great food, staff and accommodation for a short break in Southend.

Pros: The property was very clean, rooms a good size, excellent bathroom and the food was high quality. Great to also have parking behind the property. The staff were so helpful and attentive. I would highly recommend.

Cons: There was nothing I could find to dislike about the property. I was very pleasantly surprised.
