Dating back to 1891, this magnificent Victorian hotel is close to the seafront with spectacular views over the Thames Estuary. My stay was absolutely amazing,I felt safe and respected throughout

Pros: The staff wete very supportive of my disabilities, making sure all aspects of my poor mobility were adhered to. Nothing was to much a bother. The staff were very attentive and committed to continuously making my stay a postive experience.

Cons: The access into the building in saying this it will not prevent me from choosing to stay again

Lovely hotel

Pros: Beautiful location, hotel is clean and cosy, staff are all lovely.

Cons: The breakfast is wonderful, but for £15.95 I'd expected more variety.

Great Hotel near to Cliffs Pavilion

Pros: A nice Hotel which we have stayed at quite a few times before. Room was nice, and we enjoyed using the bar.Near Cliffs Pavillion.

Loved Southend!

Pros: It was very clean, could see that they had new carpets and bathrooms. I went with my mum and family suit had two separate rooms which i didn’t expect and it was great

Value for money. Friendly staff

Pros: Beautiful view and friendly hosts. The housekeeping was tidying my room every day and the location near to the center. They upgraded my room for free and thank you for that. Value for money.

Cons: The building is old fashion and needs a renovation
