Quavers Rest - quintessential little home & hot tub available !

Pros: Lovely room very cosy and quiet hot tob was awesome

Really comfortable quiet location.

Pros: The room was really clean and well presented. It had excellent facilities and was comfortable to sleep in. Being pet friendly made it even better.

Cons: It would have been useful to have had two keys to the property or a means to lock the door from the inside without the key as the only way to lock the door was with the key. This meant where I got up earlier than my wife and took the dog out, I either had to lock her in (as you couldn’t open the door without a key) or wake her up to lock me out.

Pros: Location next to village green,perfect for the dog. Great location for exploring the surrounding areas. Liked the quaintness of the property,it had everything we needed facility-wise. Hot tub is in its own hut opposite the cottage is ok. Gwyneth the host is welcoming and helpful.

Cons: Nothing to dislike really,the shower wasn't very powerful but it's functional.

Great place to stay

Pros: Comfortable and peaceful .Excellent location for us to visit the National Stud and Snetterton BSB. Also convenient to meet up with friends near Wymondham. Gwyneth was a lovely host. Everything we needed except perhaps a freezer compartment for icepacks.

Charming accommodation on the edge of a small village

Pros: The room was charming and very well equipped . The location was good not too far from Thetford Forest, on the edge of a small village. As the hot tub needed repair Gwyneth had arranged for a hired hot tub which was appreciated, as was the bottle of wine!

Cons: These are really petty niggles as we did enjoy our stay. We felt a little exposed here, the outside patio was very small and on the edge of the car park and the hot tub was across the car park, so we felt it lacked privacy. Also there were no windows just French doors which meant to get air flow they needed to be open, not good on warm summer nights. Finally this would only be relevant to shorter people but the cupboards and mirrors were way too high for me to access. A footstool would have been very useful!

Lovely place

Pros: Hot tub was great! Location was perfect for us as we were going to Forest Live at Thetford Forest however, there is literally nothing within walking distance (no pubs or shops) so could be a problem for some!

Cons: Bed was slightly smaller than a normal double bed and was very bouncy so nearly fell out a couple of times as not used to a bed that soft!

Very nice relaxing break and great base to explore Norfolk & Suffolk fens and forests.

Pros: very well equipped, quaint decor and very peaceful location

Lovely studio cottage.

Pros: Really enjoyed staying at this lovely studio cottage. The owner communicated well with any information needed and checked everything was ok during our time there. The property was well equipped and very clean. A good base for exploring the local area and as the weather was kind we were able to do lots of cycling and walking. We would definitely stay again.

Cons: Only a couple of minor things - unfortunately the fridge didn't have an ice box so we were unable to make ice for drinks. Also the property description says ... and a hot tub. What isn't immediately obvious is that you have to pay extra to use it. We hadn't been looking for a property with a hot tub so opted not to pay the extra money. Although it does mention that there is an additional charge for using the hot tub I think this should be made clearer - it doesn't say so on the basic list of amenities. Having said that if you are looking for a place with a hot tub and would get the use out of it, it would be worth it.

A beautiful, restful place to stay

Pros: The whole area was so well thought out, to have all the modern conveniences in a small place is just brilliant. The host greeted us on arrival and their lovely dog greeted ours! The location is excellent for stargazing, but close enough for shopping. Finding the wine was a bonus. Thank you so much

A little home from home.

Pros: Perfect little home for our week away. Really comfy bed and all the facilities you could want or need. The little kitchen with washing machine and dishwasher really made keeping things tidy easy. Lots of space and a private outdoor area which was really nice in the sunshine we had. Lovely area, very close to Thetford and some lovely local spots for walks, cycle rides and just enjoying nature. Highly recommend, we will definitely stay again soon. Recommend the hot tub too, it really is done in a lovely way.
