Boat Lake

Good location, to visit places in Suffolk. Lovely comfortable apartment.

Pros: Loved the decor in the flat, nice long worktop in kitchen area & lots of cupboards in kitchen. Two massive cupboards to hang clothes & fit all your bags & suitcases in & lovely chest of drawers. Nice to be able to put everything away. Loved the little balcony, it was so nice to have a bit of private outdoor space. Also a lovely view over to the Meare. The Kitchen café next door, selling tasty food & great cup of coffee. We went in there several times. Basically, we just Loved the place, we stayed for a week, wish it had been longer.

Cons: I think the sofa could have done with a good hoover, behind the cushion, as there were 2 horrible big finger or toe nails there, which wasn't very nice to be honest!

A very pleasant week

Pros: The position was great, easy access to the beach and boating lake, you could walk or cycle everywhere

Relaxing, cosy.

Pros: Well stocked kitchen, although we didn’t cook! Fab location, clean and had everything we needed for short trip.

Wonderful stay

Pros: The apartment was decorated really well. Clean, fresh and bright! Black out blinds all around. Private parking spot and the view is stunning! It had everything we needed for long weekend away. The beach is right behind the accommodation. The local pub the dolphin was lovely and good food. Thorpeness golf course was also great for a friendly atmosphere, good food and drink and all very dog friendly.

Cons: Nothing to not like.

Thorpeness and the whole area is so interesting and we would recommend both the area and the property.

Pros: It was a perfect flat for the two of us to use as a base for exploring the area. It was both very comfortable (especially the bed) and nicely decorated and clean.

Cons: We couldn't understand how to make the hob work. There were manufacturer's instructions but we didn't manage it. Have suggested something simpler may be required.

We will be back!

Pros: Amazing location, it had everything we needed. Comfortable bed and sofa, lovely little touches to make you feel at home. Parking was a real bonus!

Glorious seaside trip

Pros: Great apartment, comfortable bed. Just above Thorpeness cafe but couldn’t hear any loud noises.

Birthday visit

Pros: Location , view. All on one level. We'll equipped

Cons: Had to drive into Aldeburgh to replace half a roll of toilet paper which was all that was provided
