Relaxing and comfortable

Pros: Staff were very friendly and courteous. Room was excellent also the food was too.

Cons: Everything was brilliant

Pros: Considering the time we visited the weather had left huge amounts of surface water overflowing from the passing river Ouse, the surroundings still looked amazing. The hotel is obviously very popular with the locals, and so very dog friendly. We were on a visit to see family, who are local, they also use the hotel for occasions. The team running the place are all very welcoming and attentive, they bring excellent hospitality and passion to ensuring everyone is well catered for. Excellent food is produced from a very well run kitchen with a good menu. This hotel must have some major events to cater for with a very sizeable restaurant and marquee for big functions, I can imagine in the height of summer with the passing river and marina. When we come to visit we will 100% be staying again.

Cons: Could not fault anything.

Pros: Beautiful venue. Excellent food and staff in restaurant / pub and a brilliant pub quiz.

Cons: Room could do with a cosmetic update. In room Milk, tea and coffee poor quality.

Pros: Lovely location, lots of attention to detail. Easy to find and lovely decoration. They have thought of everything. The rooms were spacious and well equipped with lovely big bathrooms. There is a kids playroom in the pub which is also amazing! The staff were all really friendly and welcoming!

Lovely 2 nights stay in peaceful surroundings.

Pros: Beautiful location, nearby walks. Very comfortable rooms, staff always friendly and helpful. Excellent bar and restaurant, food served there was very good.

Cons: The room looked newly decorated/fitted out with attractive shower room, however the shower leaked at the floor from underneath and power of the water from shower heads seemed low.

A great venue to stay for a social gathering.

Pros: Thr location was great next to the great ouse river and marina.

Cons: More of a wedding venue setup and no EV charging facilties which is a must with the rise in EV car sales

3 nights by the river Ouse

Pros: evening meal delicious, veg option, and a surprise when we were brought two extra plates of sides by the charming manager and waiter (?) to make up for a delay which to be honest wasn't very long , so all very good. Breakfast less amazing but satisfactory if a little expensive for us. room perfect, just a little dust under and behind beds/radiateurs, but well provided and refreshed daily (water,tea coffee bathroom products etc), good idea to cover the cups etc in a transparent box ;) nice being directly outside onto the lawn, tables, and river +boats.. easy also for parking next to the rooms

Cons: just one or two nights the walls proved to be thin as we could hear the neighbours easily, but luckily not too late.. I understand, but from an ecological point of view I would be happy if things such as plastic bin liners weren't changed for the stay unless really necessary?

Pros: Peaceful location. Nice staff. Good sized room, especially the bathroom and shower. Easy check-in and free upgrade. Undergoing renovations in the main building.

Cons: Had trouble with hot water, which we reported at checkout the next day (owners were not aware of the issue until we reported it and promised to investigate).
