Facilities more than adequate, welcome warm, breakfast good, house cold.

Pros: Hosts very approachable, room was comfortable, breakfast very good.

Cons: Very cold. The heating seemed to set very low - it was 15 degrees in the room, and just as cold in the dining room. The hosts provided a room heater and extra bed cover on arrival, so might have been aware the house was on the chilly side.

Pros: Very friendly couple run the place and they couldn't be more helpful.

Good place for a night with breakfast and supportive host

Pros: Good room, nice host, breakfast, pool. All good for a night in that region.

Cons: We didn't have warm water but the host said this usually doesn't happen. So no worries, next day it was warm. It's a bit less private than we would have liked, e.g. you sit at a table with other guests at breakfast, and we couldn't sit right next to each other. But the host is supportive and the pool was very nice. Basically, it feels like you are visiting s.o. rather than staying at a hotel, with all pros and cons.

Pros: The hosts were absolutely lovely, felt so comfortable , in the evening when me and my partner didn't realise the time as we was going to order take away and was to late they offered to make us sandwiches which was so kind of them!!!. The pool is nice and heated and very clean we loved it. They have thought of everything that you may need. One of the hosts even went out that evening and invited my partner out with him and had a game of pool together. The rooms are spotless, they are absolutely lovely and was a very enjoyable place to go and am booking again.

Cons: Can't fault it in anyway.

Perfect retreat

Pros: The accommodation was equipped with everything we needed, the pool was lovely,clean and very refreshing with changing rooms at the poolside The hosts of little barham were amazing very welcoming and polite made us feel so comfortable they looked after us from the minute we got there , the breakfast was was perfect a full English but with loads of other options, all in all a perfect retreat

Pros: We had a wonderful stay at Little Barham. Breakfast was excellent, the room was so lovely and Cliff was very accommodating. We wouldn't hesitate to stay again!

We worked localy in Braintree and staying at here was a real blessing at the end of the day.

Pros: The host was fantastic, did every thing he could to make our stay great. The pool was a real bonus and nice and warm. The breakfast was lovely 10 out of 10. The rooms are clean and the bed comfortable. On a return visit this is my first choice.

A little gem of a place.

Pros: Little Barham is a home from home with a welcome feel. Excellent food at breakfast. Nice and fresh. Very tasty.
