Stylish Town Centre House with Garden and Parking Opposite

Relaxing and within walking distance of everything.

Pros: Great location. Very comfortable. Very clean, well organised and a nicexwelcome pack.

Cons: Would have been nice to have a smart tv.

Pros: The property has been beautifully decorated and is well maintained. The welcome pack was exceptional with a full continental breakfact provided. It is only a short walk to the town centre and Bury St Edmunds is a really nice town.

Cons: The property is small and the bathroom is downstairs. The free parking uses a resident's permit but parking close to the property was very limited and we had to park on the next street or use the paid parking on occasions.

Value for money

Pros: Everything,comfortable and spotlessly clean and great location ( 5 minutes walk to town centre )

Pros: The location was amazing. The property was beautifully appointed and very comfortable. There was a good welcome pack.

Cons: This was for me personally as I’m not as mobile as I was the bathroom being downstairs. They were also typically cottage stairs and quite steep. Everyone else was absolutely fine with them.

Wonderful place that very comfortable with nearly every creature comfort! Great value for the price!

Pros: The breakfast snacks were marvelous and tasty. We very much appreciated the host’s thoughtfulness. The location is perfect for touring the area and was a quiet neighborhood. The parking was very convenient and plentiful across the road.

Cons: There is not an electric outlet in the bathroom. With 4 women traveling together, showers were a bit hectic but manageable.

The property exceeded our expectations and was very clean. Location perfect too. Would recommend

Pros: Continental breakfast was left for our arrival. Thought was taken with the choice of items left for us. Every amenity was carefully considered and catered for. Good communication was noted at the property.

Cons: The stairs were steep and a little awkward. This may prove difficult with those with limitations although ok for us

Absolutely lovely - perfect location.

Pros: Absolutely lovely place. You can’t beat the location, perfectly walkable to the town center, parks and restaurants. The home was very clean and well appointed. She provided everything you could need, the kitchen is well stocked, just a lovely visit!

Quiet Gem Full of Character

Pros: We loved just about everything here. It felt like we were staying in a well cared for home instead of a rental property. It was clean, very comfortable, well equipped and in a very convenient location where we could be in the thick of things after a 5-10 minute walk. We especially appreciated how quiet and relaxing the property was, given the proximity to the town center and numerous restaurants and shops. The back garden became our hidden oasis. Our host was also extremely pleasant and helpful. We especially appreciated the fact that she provided milk and other staples (along with a sweet surprise) so we could have coffee and tea in the morning. There is a secure, multi story ‘pay and display’ car park literally a 1 minute walk from the front door which we chose instead of on-street parking. The best part was that it only cost £12 for a one week pass (!). This property had everything we needed/wanted during our stay, and we highly recommend staying here.

Cons: The only thing we we found somewhat challenging was the staircase between the ground and first floors. It was rather steep and tight - not ideal for a trip to the loo in the middle of the night - but completely understandable given the age of this sympathetically updated period property.

Pros: Comfortable beds, like new & super clean (I’m super particular on cleanliness), beautiful decor, excellent central location, quiet, super well equipped, welcome basket, washer/dryer

Cons: Only bathroom on main floor (bedrooms are upstairs), no blackout curtains/ shades.
