Charming 3 bedroom property in Bury St Edmunds

Lovely place to stay

Pros: Clean and tidy, close walking distance to the centre would recommend and would stay again. Everything you need is there !

Cons: None

House is very central, clean and spacious.

Pros: The house was very central and was super clean with spacious, pretty bedrooms. There were lots of nice little touches and basic provisions like milk, washing up liquid, dishwasher tabs and toiletries. Whilst one room is in the basement, all efforts regards humidity and heat were provided; though you might like to bring some slippers for the brick floor, just for comfort, like everywhere else it was very clean just a bit prickly for bare feet.

Cons: There is only really seating for 5 in the Dining area - this could easily be corrected with foldable chairs. There is a sound insulation issue that needs to be addressed, there are so many easy ways via DIY to do this nowadays. Alas no such measures have been made, which leads to neighbours pestering you even when you are just having a conversation, no music.

Good accommodation

Pros: Size of the property was good. Cooking facilities were ideal.

Cons: Beds weren't the comfiest

Cons: Only one bathroom in the property was a little inconvenient for our family of four.

Pros: Lovely location, a lot of rooms and space, just a shame about some of the cleanliness.

Cons: Some of the rooms were a bit dirty and had leftover food In the downstairs room. Some of the rooms were dusty and had cobwebs.

Pros: It’s lovely & beautiful, everything was complete.

Very well located place, clean and comfortable

Pros: Easy to get the key since there were a lock box, very well equipped and comfortable place. Very well located as well (supermarket, city center).

Cons: Since we were four people, I would say that a second toilet would have been appreciated, given that the only one is located in the sole bathroom.

Pros: Clean, comfortable rooms, easy access to the town centre. Although there is no parking at the property the nearby multistorey car park is good value.

Cons: Nothing.

We were out of the property for much of the booking, did not prepare evening meals there, so cannot tell if enough equip

Pros: it was clean and comfortable, the kitchen was just what we needed for preparing breakfast. The shower was lovely and hot.

Cons: it would have been helpful to have had a file with all the manuals for heating, microwave, cooker, w/machine instructions in one place. Luckily one of our number knew how to work the heating system!!

Pros: The owner was very considerate in sending information through to all parties who stayed. The rooms were nicely decorated, warm and the beds comfortable. The kitchen facilities were very good and the availability of a washing machine and dryer appreciated with three boys aged 2,8 and 10. The snug was comfy and warm also. We had lovely walks into Bury which was easily accessible from this comfortable property.

Cons: Unfortunately being a terraced property the walls are thin and the next door neighbours did knock on the door to request if we could be quieter. This made us feel unavoidably anxious after teatime as we desired to be good neighbours albeit for a few days
