Would definitely book again. Great location and such a comfy stay ☺️

Pros: The beds were so comfy! We loved the charm of the cottage and how spotless it was. The kitchen was perfectly equipped - fabulous for a family holiday!! The location was great with easy access to Cambridge, Ely and a couple of lovely local pubs.

Cons: The stairs - fine for us but maybe not for people with mobility issues or younger children.

Charming country cottage

Pros: Lovely cottage in a stunning location. Very helpful hosts. It was clean, charming and had everything we needed for a short weekend stay.

Cons: The stairs were very steep, almost like a ladder at the top. It would be better if more safety modifications could be made.

Lovely stay in Horningsea

Pros: Very charming, comfortable and well furnished. The fireplace for a visit in winter is a great plus. Bring the wood and kindling! We enjoyed our stay and would happily come back.

Cons: Some of the appliances needed some figuring out like the oven on which the symbols and degrees are erased. It is a hotspot brand if ever looking for the manual on the Internet. The shower is amazing, but is scalding hot if the switch for hot water boost is on.

Pros: Lovey cottage with well equipped kitchen, WiFi and across the road bus to Cambridge

Cons: The stairs are very steep and obviously not up to building regulations. No spindles at the side and the top step is part under the landing.

Charming and cosy

Pros: Very charming and cosy, well equipped, especially the kitchen and the bathroom with a floor heating

Cons: As You can see on the photos, the old stairs are (stable, but) quite high (only to mention, because it is a very old and very nice house, so You can not expect a barrierfree access)

Relaxing stay.

Pros: Lovely kitchen with everything we needed underfloor heating was great. Beds comfortable and heaters made it nice and warm.

Cons: Stairs felt dangerous, we knew it was an old cottage and was fine for us but anyone with mobility issues or smaller children this would be very difficult.

Pros: The house itself is lovely extremely comfortable and had everything we needed.

Cons: The oven worked but the dial markings had worn off, and although there are two bedrooms this was a little unclear on the booking.com website.

Cons: It’s a lovely place - stairs probably not suitable for children.
